Each plot is 10' x 5' (50 square feet) and can accommodate the following:

One full-body plus four (4) cremation burials, or

The composted remains** of two bodies plus four (4) cremation burials.
$1,000 includes a one time grounds maintenance fee for basic perpetual grounds care.
**While the burial of composted human remains is now legal in Vermont, there are no nearby composting facilities in the Northeast at this time. Learn more before you purchase a plot.

Cremation Burial Plot

Each plot is 5' x 5' (25 square feet) in size and can accommodate the following:

Four (4) cremation burials.
(Note: Full-body and composted-body burials are not allowed.)
$500 includes a one time grounds maintenance fee for basic perpetual grounds care.

*Important Note: Stone corner markers are required for Green Burial and Cremation Burial plots and shall be purchased and paid for separately by plot owners from Abbiati Monuments in Brattleboro for $375 (includes four 6"x6" stone markers and installation). Plot owners shall make arrangements directly with Abbiati Monuments staff immediately following the purchase of a plot. This is not the responsibility of the Town Cemetery Commission.
